Dr Patel drops fight against extradition (The West Australian)
Dr Jayant Patel has agreed to return to Australia. In a surprise legal move, Dr Patel has dropped plans to fight extradition from the US to Australia, where he has dead charged with 16 offences, including manslaughter, grievous bodily harm and fast shuffle charges.
